Write your card to an NFC tag
Your Piqlo card works as a QR and an NFC tap. The QR you can print today. To add tap-to-share, write your card's link to a cheap NFC tag. No special hardware, no lock-in. Bring your own tag (BYOT).
What you need
- • Any cheap NTAG213 / 215 / 216 NFC sticker or card (a few cents each, sold in packs everywhere).
- • A phone with NFC (every recent iPhone and most Android phones).
- • A free tag-writer app. NFC Tools(iOS & Android) is the most common.

Copy your NFC link from the card
Open your card in Piqlo → Use your card → press Copy next to NFC tap link. This link ends in
?s=nfc. That's what marks each visit as a tap, so use this one (not the plain share link). The tap vs scan split shows in your analytics on the Pro plan.2
Open a tag-writer app
Install NFC Tools (or any NFC writer), open it, and choose Write → Add a record → URL / URI.

Paste your link and write the tag
Paste the NFC link you copied, then tap Write and hold your phone against the tag until it confirms. That's it. The tag now points at your card.

Tap to test
Unlock your phone and hold it near the tag. It should open your review page (or whatever you pointed the card at). Because you can edit the card any time, you never have to re-write the tag.

Place it where customers are
Stick it on the counter, a table tent, the receipt holder, or the door. Add a short prompt: “Tap or scan to leave a review.” Eye-level and within reach gets the most taps.
Prefer a printed QR?
Every card also has a QR you can download as PNG (SVG on paid plans) from its page and print at any size. Tap and scan both land on the same place, and you can change where it points without reprinting.
